Now that I have officially completed my first semester of schooling in the Creative Photography: Still and Motion program at Mohawk College. I just want to take a moment and give you my review of it.
Let me start by saying, the first week was nerve racking. For a few reasons, first off all I am the oldest student in the program, and when I graduate, I will be the oldest mature student to graduate from the program ever. I didn’t know what to expect and I was at a disadvantage with equipment, my camera at the time was a Nikon D40, which was 10 years old, did not do video and let alone went any higher in ISO then 1600. Most of the individuals in the class were fresh out of high school and many seemed to have been photographing since they were in grade school.
But as the weeks turned to months, my confidence grew, my photography skills increased and I can safely say, I am very proud of the work I have accomplished. There isn’t much more to say in words but I will let my pictures dictate what I did in this semester!
